This is a course to enjoy the mountain scenery of Pakistan, visiting Fairy Meadows and Hunza with a view of Nanga Parbat (8,126m), the 9th highest peak in the world. A three-hour one-way hike to Fairy Meadows will take you to a scenic spot overlooking the north face of Nanga Parbat. Enjoy the mountain views in the morning and evening. We will visit Petroglyphs on the banks of the Indus River, which will be sunk by the completion of the dam in 2029, and we will also visit the Gandhara site of Taxila.

Itinerary

01
From Islamabad to Chilas. On the way, visit the Petroglyphs of Shatial.

From Chilas to Fairy Point. From here, hike for 3 hours to Fairy Meadows. The north face of Nanga Parbat (8,126m), the world's ninth highest peak, appears on the way.

Enjoy the morning view of the north face of Nanga Parbat, walk down to Fairy Point, and continue north on the Karakoram Highway to Karimabad, the heart of Hunza.On the way, we will stop at Rakaposhi Viewpoint.

Full day visit to the Hunza Valley (Baltit Fort, canal walk, Altit village, etc.). In the evening, enjoy the mountain scenery of Spantik and Rakaposhi from Duiker Hill.

Day tour from Karimabad to Upper Hunza and Khunjerab Pass (4,700m), the border with China. On the way, you will see the beautiful mountainous landscape of northern Pakistan, including Attabad Lake, the Passu Glacier, and villages inhabited by Wakhi people.

Travel the Karakoram Highway from Karimabad to Besham.

Visit the largest Buddhist site in Gandhara, Taxila (Sirkap, Jaulian Stupa & Monastry, Darmarajika Stupa, Museum etc.), and then proceed to Islamabad.

Itinerary
The visit to Fairy Meadows will be by local four-wheel drive vehicle from the Karakoram Highway to Fairy Point and a three-hour walk each way from Fairy Point to Fairy Meadows. Please bring hiking/trekking shoes, hat, and backpack. The altitude of Fairy Meadows is 3,300m and it gets cold in the morning and evening.
